Overview
The Char Dham Yatra is a special journey for Hindus in Uttarakhand, India. It includes four important places: Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Gangotri is where the holy River Ganges comes from and is a place to ask for blessings and cleanse the soul. Yamunotri is where the River Yamuna starts and is important for people who want prosperity and purification. Kedarnath is where Lord Shiva lives and is a place for spiritual awakening. Badrinath is where Lord Vishnu is worshipped and is a very holy place where people go to find salvation.
